Beer pub Staburags

In 1995 the beer pub Staburags was opened at 55 Čaka Street. Its original intent was to create a club for student corporations, but later the beer pub represented an atmosphere of an ethnographic museum, with antique details characteristic to the interiors of Latvian farmsteads. This was one of the few restaurants in Riga with live dance music in the evening programme.
